In 1993, he was Gordie in the horror film “Sandman” (1993), and his last role was as Demon in the comedy horror film “Ghoulies IV” (1994). He “retired,” at least as an actor, for the first time in the mid-1990s.

Since that retirement, Philip has worked as a producer, and some of the projects he has worked on include the thriller drama “Murder in the First” (1995), starring Christian Slater, Kevin Bacon and Gary Oldman, and the fantasy mystery – drama film “The Jacket” in 2005, with Adrien Brody, Keira Knightley and Daniel Craig in the main roles.
