Stéphane Plaza was born on June 9, 1970 (age 52; from 2022), in Suresnes, Hauts-de-Seine, France. Having grown up with his cyclist father and his florist mother, in Ronce-les-Bains in Charente-Maritime, he suffered from dyslexia and dyspraxia since childhood; Dyspraxia is a motor development disorder that affects the coordination and automation of voluntary gestures. He followed a theatrical training for seven years at the Maurice Ravel Conservatory in Levallois. He pursued the Economic and Social Baccalaureate twice, but failed. Later, he gets the Ability in Law.

Stéphane Plaza’s father, Raymond Plaza, is a former professional cyclist. Her mother’s name is, Christiane Plaza, was a florist. In 2016, her mother died of cancer of the pleura.

Career
Early in his career, he worked for the French national railway company SNCF. In 1987, he joined his cousin’s real estate agency, where he worked for fourteen years. Talking about his job at his cousin’s agency, he said,
I started working very young. At 17, I was doing replacements in the agency where my cousin worked. I immediately liked it. At first, I was in charge of rentals. Then I was entrusted with more serious things, such as sales. As I was doing well, I was hired”
His experience as a real estate agent led him to enter the entertainment industry.
In 2005, he participated in a real estate fair where he was noticed by M6, which was looking for a host for its next program “Recherche appartement ou maison”.

After the success of ‘Recherche appartement ou maison’, Stéphane Plaza launches into the presentation of the program ‘Maison à vente’ (2007). In the show, he helps families sell properties that haven’t found a buyer for a long time by giving lots of advice on how to make a house more attractive and by providing his expertise on market prices.
In 2010, he began hosting the weekly program ‘Les experts… c’est vous!’. In the show, Stéphane Plaza travels around France and invites his family to discover the best tips and tricks on various subjects such as cooking, gardening, decoration, fashion, health, beauty, fitness, hobbies, etc.

Stéphane Plaza began his acting career in 2001 when he played the small role of a flower delivery man in an episode of the show “Le Groupe”, broadcast on France 2.
He appeared in the television series ‘The Man of the Situation’ (2011) in which he played the protagonist, Alexandre. Broadcast on M6, the program follows Alexandre, immature and lazy, who, after running away on his wedding day, begins to work as a nanny for a mother of three children.
In 2018, he appeared in the lead role of Zac in the French comedy “J’ai perdu Albert”. In the movie, Chloe leads a successful life because Albert Einstein is on her mind, but one day Einstein decides to move out and chooses the body of a depressed beekeeper named Zac.
In 2020, he appeared in the episode entitled “Dilemma” of the crime television series “The judge is a woman” in the role of Nathan Gallois.

In 2015, he starred in the French comedy ‘On the Left Leaving the Lift’ by Gérard Lauzier, staged at the Théâtre Saint-Georges, Paris. In the play, Stéphane played the protagonist Yan, a popular painter who falls in love with a married woman named Florence.
In 2016, he interpreted the role of Paul Achard in the play “Le fusible” by Sylvain Meynia. The play follows Paul, a 45-year-old businessman who, on the eve of selling his business, wants to leave his wife and change his life. To organize this project, Paul confides in his friend Michel, a naive and clumsy computer scientist.
In 2022, he plays in Laurent Ruquier’s comedy, A Magical Couple, alongside Valérie Maire and Jeanfi Janssens. Staged at the Théâtre des Bouffes Parisiens, Paris, in the play Stéphane played the role of a magician named Pierre-François Kadabra who struggles to prevent his assistant and crush Claudine from being fired by his agent.
Real estate
In 2010, he became Managing Director of the ERA CTI group. In 2015, Stéphane Plaza co-founded the real estate company Stéphane Plaza Immobilier with Bernard Augier de Crémiers and Patrick-Michel Khider de Lusigny. A popular brand in France, Stéphane Plaza Immobilier has 660 franchise contracts in seven years after its creation.
