School and early life
Ruby has been spending her entire childhood in Los Angeles with her parents Andrew and Natalie Turner, and her two brothers Alec and Alfie and her sister Nadia. She hasn’t talked much about them as she prefers not to get them involved in media – her sister Nadia is a dancer as well, and is her only older sibling.
Ruby first fell in love with dancing when she was around four years old. Seeing her passion for dancing, her parents paid for her dancing classes at one of the best dancing schools in California called the Rage Dance Company and West Coast Dance Theatre, and these classes would turn out to be very useful, as Ruby became an avid dancer and eventually launched her career in dancing. Being only 13 years old, Ruby is still attending elementary school and will start high school in 2020.

Ruby began dancing a variety of styles such as jazz, hip hop, and ballet. She rose to prominence in February 2015 after she appeared in Alyson Stoner’s tribute video to Missy Elliott, however, she began appearing on TV long before that, as she could have been dancing in a single episode of the “Sabado Gigante” Univision Miami’s show. Ruby has also appeared in one of the music videos of Dani Rey, and has danced in the “Dancing with the Stars” show alongside Quvenzhane Wallis, to promote the new version of the “Annie” movie released in 2015.
Thanks to her appearance in Alyson Stoner’s video, both Ruby and her older sister Nadia were invited to attend the World of Dance Awards held in 2016. Throughout the years, Ruby has worked with some of the most popular dance choreographers, including Josh Kilacky and Tricia Miranda. Ruby is also a model, as she launched her modeling career around the same time that she became popular for her dancing skills – she has so far modeled for numerous companies including Under Armour, Isabella, and Chloe.

Even though she is still very young, Ruby has nevertheless managed to launch dancing, acting and modeling careers and these things take most of her free time away from school, however, she still finds time for some other things she enjoys doing.
