She enrolled at a high school in Tennessee where she was somewhat popular due to her attractive looks – she was living a life of a regular teenager, going out and partying with her friends, and after she matriculated, Renee decided not to enroll at college immediately, but to rather pursue her dreams of becoming a popular actress. After she spent several years working on her acting career, Renee went back to studying and enrolled at the London School of Economics in the UK, from which she graduated with a Master of Business Administration degree.
Career of an actress and other works
Renee launched her acting career in 1989 when she was hired to act in the popular “Baywatch” TV series – “Baywatch” was one of the most watched TV series in the US and Europe during that time, and thanks to her attractive looks and resemblance to Pamela Anderson, she played her body double in the show.
In 1991, Renee appeared in a single episode of the “Silk Stalkings” mystery crime TV series – she took a rather long break after that as the next piece she appeared in was the “Nutbag” movie shot in 2000. Renee acted in several TV series and movies in the next couple of years, while none of these really helped her career – she became recognized after landing roles in the “Murder-Set-Pieces” TV movie shot in 2004, and then in “The Girls Next Door” TV series in the same year. In 2007, Renee won a role in the “Scott Baio Is 45… And Single” reality TV series, and this appears to be the last show she appeared in before her retirement from acting. Scott was born into an Italian family – his mother Rose was a housewife while his father, Mario Baio has served as his manager throughout his acting career. In 1987, Scott decided to test his luck in directing – he directed episodes for more than 15 TV series while the last he worked on was “The Parkers” in 1998.
There’s been a lot of controversy surrounding Scott, who was accused of sexual misconduct on 29 January 2018 by Nicole Eggert, who claimed Scott had intercourse with her when she was 17 – Scott admitted that he had slept with Nicole but stated that she was 18 at the time which was later confirmed by Nicole’s friend. Scott has also been accused of verbally and physically attacking American actor Alexander Polinsky during the filming of the “Charles in Charge” TV sitcom, but this matter was soon resolved.

Renee’s health problems
It was June 2015 when Renee started complaining about the pain in her head, and was diagnosed with a meningioma brain tumor. Luckily for her, the tumor seemed not to be harmful and it was therefore not treated – in October 2017, Renee was diagnosed with a microvascular brain disease while on 10 March 2018, another meningioma brain tumor was discovered. However, none of this seems to be very harmful to her health, and she is still focused on her career and marriage.

Renee has been interested in doing numerous things throughout the years, and although her career and her family take most of her time, she always finds gaps in her schedule for doing what she enjoys.

Renee has been into sports since she was in high school – she first began playing soccer and tennis because she thought it would benefit her looks and keep her fit, however, she quickly fell in love with competing and exercising. Although she no longer plays any of these sports, Renee goes to the gym four to five times every week, and is also on a strict diet – she sees this as something very important for her modelling career as well as for her health. Renee is a believer and very religious – she goes to church every week, and once stated that ‘her faith in God is greater than the fear of the unknown’ – this was a response to the interviewer’s question regarding her health.
