Maggie Civantos was born in Malaga, Andalucia, Spain, on 28 December 1984 – her zodiac sign is Capricorn, and she holds Spanish nationality. She is an actress, probably best known for starring as Macarena Ferreiro in the “Locked Up” Antena 3 series.
Early life and education
Maggie was raised in Malaga by her father who is a sound technician, and her mother who is a singer – she is an only child, and was therefore allowed to do many things while growing-up which other children were not; she has stated in an interview how she had ‘two good policemen’ instead of having one strict and one carefree parent.
Her parents named her after the Maggie Gioberti character in the “Falcon Crest” TV series, of which they are huge fans.
Maggie attended a high school in Malaga, where she first became interested in acting, and although her father asked her to start attending a music school hoping that she’d become a musician as himself, she eventually became a member of her school’s drama club, and began taking acting lessons. After matriculation, she enrolled at the Escuela Superior de Arte Dramatico de Malaga, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in 2006.

Maggie has been spending a lot of her free time with Vicente Romero Redondo, a Spanish figurative painter and educator, and she often uploads pictures of them together onto her Instagram account.
Rumors soon began spreading the internet about the two being in a relationship, but as Vicente was born in 1956 and is 63 years old while Maggie is 35, the rumors soon died out, while both Maggie and Vicente have stated that they are just friends.
In 2017, Maggie was rumored to be dating an actor whom she met on the set of a movie, and the two were allegedly dating for over two years while keeping their relationship hidden and away from the spotlight.
