Yasmine Leïla Bekhti is an Algerian-born French actress who has recently gained international attention. His best-known films are All That Glitters (2007), Paris, I Love You (2006) and Sheitan (2006).

In his early years, Bekhti attended the drama school in Paris (18th), then the program of Stéphane Gildas in Tolbiac. Career
Following her friends, she went to the casting of Sheitan in 2005, which selected her for the role of Yasmin, a young beauty. She got the film and the film was released in theaters on February 1, 2006, Sheitan sold over 300,000 tickets in its 13 weeks in theaters.
She then played a role in Alain Tasma’s TV movie Harkis. That same year, she performed the role of Zarka in Paris, je t’aime (2006) (“Quais de Seine” segment, directed by Gurinder Chadha) and that of Mounia in Mauvaise Foi, playing Roschdy Zem’s sister.

She played a small role in an episode of the series Madame le Principal and in the other episode of the series Les Cheaters opposite Pascal Légitimus. For her role in Rachid Hami’s Choose to Love, she won the Best Actress Award at the Silhouette Festival in 2008. For God’s Love is her next project, which is a TV movie by Ahmed Bouchaala and Zakia Tahri for Arte. Bekhti played the main role in the film Ali Baba alongside Gérard Jugnot and appeared in the film Dolls and Angels by Nora Hamdi. She was shortlisted for the César Award for Best Actress, although she was unable to make the final list of nominees.

It was also that year that she made herself known with two supporting roles: one in Mesrine: Killer Instinct by Jean-François Richet, and especially that of Djamila in A Prophet directed by Jacques Audiard. She won nine Césars and the Grand Prix at Cannes for the film.

His participation in the Twenty Show web series, born of a unique partnership between Arte and MySpace, was then transformed into a documentary film. Her 2009 schedule included a third appearance in Tricheurs, as well as the role of Myriam in the two-part miniseries Myriam’s Choice, which depicts an Algerian family’s immigration to France. Actress Geraldine Nakache, director of All That Glitters, was impressed with Bekhti’s performance. She then contacts her in her first film as a director, All that glitters.
