There isn’t much known about Kerri’s early life, as she has decided to keep these matters to herself – it is believed that she moved to the US with her family as soon as she finished elementary school. She decided to become an actress one day, and focused her entire life on making her way into the film industry – she matriculated from a local high school in the US, then chose not to enroll at college but to rather focus on her acting career.

Kerri’s acting career was launched in 1995 but she played only minor roles in a couple of films and TV series, before appearing in the “Enough” film shot in 2002. The movie was closely based on the “Black and Blue” book by Anna Quindlen which was a bestseller, and helped Kerri become recognized in the film industry – the movie itself scored an ordinary grade on the IMDb rating website (5.7 /10) but both Kerri and Jennifer Lopez who played the lead role were praised for their performances.
