French journalist, Diane Gouffrant was born in Bayonne, France, 6 April 1985 (Saturday). She studied at the Lycée René Cassin and obtained a Baccalaureate in economics in 1993. Then from 1998-1999, she obtained a degree in Information and Communication and business communication at the IUT of Bordeaux. From 1999-2000, she obtained another diploma from the CFPJ in journalism and television.

Career

Diane Gouffrant started out as a freelancer for the surf press. Thereafter, she flew to London, where she had several jobs, including that of correspondent for Wit FM radio from 1998-1999, which broadcast from Bordeaux.

In 1999, she landed in Paris and joined the sports department of France Télévisions. There she produced reports for programs such as Stade 2 and Tout le Sport. She then officiated at Eurosport, where, for five years, she commented on various sporting events and also took care of the presentation of newspapers. Alongside her time at Eurosport, she has also featured on other channels.

On Match TV, she presented alongside Amanda Lear in a trend show “ça reste entre nous” and “Tendance Amanda”, and in an entertainment show with Jean-Marc Morandini. On the cultural side, she presented Histoires de Maison on the Du Coté de Chez Vous TV channel, for which she hosted a special program in 2007 on the occasion of the opening of the city of heritage and architecture. She also dabbled in information by signing daily general news items for the 6-minute newspaper on M6. She also spent four years of her life on LCI, under the leadership of Jean-Claude Dassier. She first presented the sports newspaper there before becoming a joker host for general information newspapers. This is how she got noticed. The news channel BFM TV then decided to integrate her into its team in April 2007. In September 2019, Diane Gouffrant took over and became deputy editor-in-chief of BFMTV.
