Chris has been interested in education since a very early age. He enrolled at the Whitfield School in Creve Coeur in St. Louis County, and then switched to attending The Linsly School in 1990. He matriculated in 1993 and went on to attend the Hampden Sydney College – he graduated in 1997 with a bachelor’s degree, and began working straight afterwards.
Career of a journalist and other works
Chris launched his career with the Wheeling Intelligencer company based in West Virginia. He used this job to gather additional knowledge, and then moved to work for the Charleston Daily Mail in 1998.
He was part of the Charleston Daily Mail team for six years, during which he served as their political editor, and then moved to West Virginia Media Holdings where he stayed for the next three years. He became somewhat popular in 2007 after winning a job for “The Washington Examiner” political weekly magazine, where he served as a political editor. Chris rose to prominence after he began working for the Fox News Channel, on some of their most popular shows such as “The Kelly File” and “Perino & Stirewalt: I’ll Tell You What” – although “Perino & Stirewalt” was initially only a podcast, it received such good reviews and was very popular that it was later made into a TV show.
