Who is his wife Alison?

Alison Ann Sweeney was born in Los Angeles, California USA, on 19 September 1976 – her zodiac sign is Virgo, and she holds American nationality. She’s appeared in close to 40 movies and TV series, while she’s perhaps known best for her portrayal of Sami Brady, one of the lead characters in the soap opera “Days of Our Lives”.

It was created by Ted Corday and Betty Corday, also stars Deidre Hall, Kristian Alfonso and Drake Hogestyn, and follows the people living in the city of Salem; the series has been airing since 1965 – Alison first joined the cast in 1987 – and has won 232 of the 745 awards for which it has been nominated, including four Primetime Emmy nominations.

Alison was raised in Los Angeles alongside her two brothers, by their father Stender and mother Polly. She became interested in acting at a very early age, and was seven when she launched her career with her portrayal of Lyla in the 1984 episode “The Wrong Stuff” of the action crime series “Simon & Simon”; Alison then went on to act throughout her entire education, with a couple of her following roles were in single episodes of the family comedy series’ “Webster” and “St. Elsewhere”, both in 1985, and the 1987 episode “You Ruined My Life” of the family adventure series “The Magical World of Disney”.

Upon matriculating from a local high school in 1994, Alison enrolled at the University of California, Los Angeles wanting to pursue a degree in economics, however, she dropped out after only a year, mostly because she needed more time to shoot for “Days of Our Lives”.

She gained recognition in 1988, when she portrayed the lead character Rosie Tobin in the comedy series “Family Man”, however, it was cancelled after only seven episodes. In 1989 and 1990, she starred as Christy McCray in the comedy series “A Brand New Life”, while she had three roles in the ‘90s: in the 1991 romantic comedy series “American Playhouse”, the 1993 drama movie “Night Sins” and the 1994 drama series “Bay State”.

Because she continued being focused on shooting for “Days of Our Lives” from 1993, Alison went on to appear in only three series in the 2000s: she made a guest appearance in the 2001 episode “The One with Joey’s Award” of the critically acclaimed comedy “Friends”, and then in a 2004 episode of both the historical family drama “American Dreams” and the crime drama “Las Vegas”.

Between 2015 and 2017, Alison played the main character Hannah Swensen in all five episodes of the mystery crime mini-series “Murder, She Baked”, created by Nancey Silvers, and which also starred Cameron Mathison and Barbara Niven. It follows bakery owner Hannah, who’s also good at solving crimes.

Three of Alison’s most recent roles have been in the 2022 romantic movies “The Wedding Veil”, “The Wedding Veil Unveiled” and “The Wedding Veil Legacy”.

She has won nine of the 19 awards for which she has been nominated; these wins include a 2002 Daytime Emmy Special Fan Award for America’s Favorite Villain, a 2003 Online Film & Television Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Daytime Serial, and a 2005 Soap Opera Digest Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress, all for her performance in “Days of Our Lives”.
