Louis Watkiss Wiki – Biography of Louis Watkiss
Louis Watkiss died after being injured in an indoor ski center. Watkiss, of Sutton Coldfield, Staffs, suffered fatal injuries at the busy SnowDome site in Tamworth on Friday night, with a witness claiming the youth was “halfway down the hill” when his sled collided with a skier.

Staffordshire Police were called to Tamworth Snow Dome on Friday to report that a child had been seriously injured. Paramedics attended the scene, but Louis, of Sutton Coldfield, died shortly after. Officers continue to investigate the circumstances with support from the Health and Safety Executive. The officers support the family.
“We call on everyone to respect the right of the family to grieve in private during this extremely difficult time,” the force said.
The West Midlands Ambulance Service said its workers tried to save Louis, who died “after an incident on the slope”.
A man who was also injured in the incident did not require treatment.
Police report
Police said in a statement: “The directors and staff are deeply shocked by what has happened, and our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this terrible time.
“The authorities are currently carrying out an investigation and we are providing them with our full cooperation. “
Alan White, head of Staffordshire County Council, said he was shocked by the “tragic news”.
“We must wait until the circumstances are established, but I offer my deepest condolences at this terrible time to the family and friends of the deceased and to all those affected by this tragedy,” he said.
