Pasionaye Nguyen was born in 1971 in California, USA; there isn’t much information from her childhood, though we know that she is of Afro-American and Vietnamese ancestry, and that she is the older daughter of Kim Nguyen, a Vietnamese woman, born in 1944 – she has a younger sister, Cece . Pasionaye was just 16 years old when she started a romantic relationship with Tyga’s father, Michael Stevenson. As their romance developed, Pasionay became pregnant with Tyga, and it was on the 19th November 1989 that she gave birth to Michael Ray Nguyen-Stevenson. Soon after Tyga’s birth, his father was jailed, and Pasionay raised Tyga as a single mother. They spent 11 years in Compton before they moved to Gardena, California.

Rise to Prominence
Tyga’s third album, “Hotel California” released in 2013, was a complete success, as it reached No. 7 on the US Billboard 200 and topped the US Rap chart. However, he struggled in the next couple of years, but most recently reached stardom with the album “Legendary”, released on the 7th June 2019, which achieved gold status in the US, and spawned several hit songs, including “Taste”, “ Swish”, and “Loco Contigo”, among other songs.
