Brittany grew up in Pleasant Grove and developed a keen interest in dancing at the age of three, and quickly began to learn the art. She started by learning ballet, before moving on to jazz and ballroom dancing when she was just five years old. She focused on her skills in Latin ballroom dancing and aspiring to find a career in the dance industry, she then turned to opportunities in television.
She auditioned for the 10th season of “So you think you can dance” on Fox, and made it into the top 20 in the competition.
The dance series is the flagship show in an international franchise created by Simon Fuller of “American Idol” fame. In the show, dancers must compete in a variety of dance genres, testing their ability to adapt to different styles. The dancers then compete on television in various dance genres, attempting to qualify each week to be crowned “America’s Favorite Dancer”.
