Athena Irene Karkanis was born in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada on September 7, 1981, therefore under the zodiac sign of Virgo and of Canadian nationality – she became known through her acting career, while she is also singer and voice actress.

Athena is said to be dating a journalist she met years ago – the mysterious man is said to have interviewed Athena as the two later considered dating. The date went well and they continued to see each other for a month before formalizing their relationship – they have been living together in Toronto for several years now, and Athena uploaded some photos of them together on her Instagram account . However, it doesn’t look like the two are planning on exchanging their wedding vows anytime soon or starting a family, as they are both focused on their careers. There were rumors circulating on the internet that the popular actress was pregnant, however, they turned out to be false.
Being as secretive as she is, Athena hasn’t commented on any other men she may have dated over the years, so judging from the posts on her social media accounts, she currently seems dating a journalist, has not married and has no children.

Athena considers travel her main hobby and has traveled across Europe and the United States as she enjoys her acting career in part because it allows her to travel the world for the scenes that it must turn. She loves to listen to music and likes to be surprised by musicians performing on the street – she recently uploaded a photo of such an occasion on his Instagram account.
